The Waldviertel, a picturesque region between Vienna and the former Iron Curtain. A woman’s body floats on a large pond in the middle of the forest. Inspector Paul of the Lower Austria LKA in St. P\u00f6lten is faced with a mystery: the elderly woman’s apparent bathing accident could be a perfect murder. Without motive, without clues, without suspects. Could the victim perhaps have known something that cost him his life? Or is the crime connected to the disappearance of a young woman ten years ago?<\/p>

Martin , her fianc\u00e9 at the time, is now a police officer and investigates at Paul’s side – not yet knowing that the investigation will be closer to him than he would like.<\/p>
