Managing Director and Shareholder<\/p>

John Lueftner, producer and managing partner of Superfilm, was born in 1969.<\/p>

Before founding Superfilm in 2006, together with David Schalko, he made a name for himself as a commercial film producer. For his work as managing director of Neue Sentimental Film (2002 to 2005) and producer at Filmhaus Wien, he received numerous national and international awards.<\/p>

With Sendung Ohne Namen (\u00d6 2002) he won the Romy for the most innovative program idea in 2003. In 2004 he was awarded “Producer of the Year”.<\/p>

Further awards as producer of Superfilm followed, such as Special Jury Prize for Braunschlag 2013.<\/p>

Lueftner is president of the Austrian Producers Association.<\/p>
