Thomas Maurer gets to the bottom of food. He butchers pigs, cuts asparagus, fillets carps, makes cheese, bakes bread.

Together with him one learns a lot. Above all, where our food comes from. Or rather should come from.

What difference it makes between a brain with egg which still thought comfortably two hours ago, and one from factory farming.
