12.04.2016 Start of principal photography for the ORF-Landkrimi „Höhenstraße“

The “Höhenstraße”. Vienna’s Mulholland Drive. Nocturnal speeding, drugs, sex in the parking spots, drunk driving. Those are the kind of offenses that Nicholas Ofczarek and Raimund Wallisch punish as policemen in the eighth episode of the ORF-series Landkrimi. They’re tough. They’re relentless. And they’re fraudulent, just like their police badges. Principal photography for the feature, written and directed by David Schalko, started on Monday, April 11th 2016. Co-starring are Klaus Rott, Inge Maux, Franziska Hackl, David Oberkogler, Oliver Mukuta and Doris Schretzmayer. “Höhenstraße” is expected to be broadcast around the turn of the year on ORF eins.

“Höhenstraße” is a coproduction of Superfilm and the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation with support from the Austrian Television Fund and the Television Fund of the Vienna Film Fund. “Höhenstraße” is the pilot project for “green producing” in Austria with the objective of developing a catalogue of criteria that can be used for the creation of a federal eco-label for the Austrian film industry.
