David Schalko will follow in the footsteps of exceptional artists such as David Simon, Todd Haynes and Michael Winterbottom when he receives the TV Spielfilm Award at this year’s Cologne Conference. The Award is given each year to people from the media and honours the best contribution of the festival. Already for its 25th time, the International Film & TV Festival Cologne will show the worldwide most important trends and exceptional productions in the categories Top Ten, Look, Cinema and Showcase from 25th September until 1st October. As Braunschlag in 2012, “Old Money” will run in the category Top Ten, where German language productions are rarely included. Moreover, main actress Nora von Waldstätten will be awarded with the „international actors award.cologne“.
