Tatort Standing Count
TV – Movie, Tatort series, 90 minutes
A bulgarian ex-prostitute is the victim of a horrible murderous attack. As she’s smoking a cigarette on the street, a boy on a BMX bike sprays her with a petrol-filled water pumpgun and she instantly bursts into flames.
Bibi Fellner realizes straight away that her past has caught up with her as she arrives on the crime scene together with her partner Moritz Eisner. She knows the victim from her time at the vice squad and made a pledge to protect her from her pursuers after her testimony in court.
An eye witness already identifies the little inconspicuous Bulgarian boy on the crime scene. But who and what made the child perpetrate this cold-blooded assassination? And why is his mother denying him at the police interrogation?
Increasing evidence leads into the obscure mafia-like milieu of human trafficking and prostitution. The fate of the boy awakens memories in Bibi of her own childhood that was anything but carefree and soon she is following her heart more than the official instructions.
